Assembles very easily seems to be a great bed.

The e4 queen bedframe is a great product for the most part. Set up is very easy. The head and foot adjustment motors are smooth and reasonably quiet. Massage features are a bit more noisy, but feel good, especially with 3 levels of intensity. I like the ability to go 1-touch flat or Zero Gravity. Under bed lights have proven useful. It's a comfortable, well functioning product, that performs as advertised.
My caveats are these. 1) the mattress retaining bar was not in the box. Was forced to McGuyver a solution. 2) I bought this model because it is zero clearance and can be used with a platform bed. And it can, with caveats. First problem is movement. It comes with straps to secure the base from moving forward or back, but nothing to prevent it from moving side to side. As this bed and my platform are both smooth metal, it doesn't take much of a bump to move the whole thing. Clamps and ratchet straps were necessary additions. Next, and this may be just my unfortunate luck, but the motor for the head massage happens to rest directly on one of the platform's slats. So, if you use massage in the completely flat position it rattles the whole bed loudly. I did not think this would be an issue with zero clearance, but it has turned out to be for me. Lastly, while the website does say it is compatible with platform beds, there should be a caveat regarding platforms with headboards. Even with my McGuyvered mattress retainer being a good 4 inches further out than where the actual retainer would be, it is an extremely tight fit between mattress and headboard, so raising and lowering has to be done very carefully. Overall, I gave the item 4 stars because most of my issues stem from having it on a platform bed. So be very careful if you are going that route. If I were using this product with the very handy included legs that have 4 height adjustments, I imagine I would have given it five stars. As far as durability, it seems very well built, but only time will tell on that.

Haven’t had it long, but it works as described. No complaints.
