What if only part of my cart is eligible?
At checkout, you will have the ability to split the eligible and ineligible portions of your payment between HSA/FSA card and a regular credit/debit card, respectively.
What if I don’t have enough funds to cover the fully eligible portion of my purchase with my HSA/FSA?
At checkout, you will have the ability to indicate the amount that you would like to charge to your HSA/FSA card and then add a credit card/debit card to charge the remaining amount.
What makes a Blissful Nights product eligible?
Products are deemed eligible with a Letter of Medical Necessity based on proven clinical evidence to support treatment, prevention, or mitigation of certain health conditions through use of that product.

What are HSA/FSA accounts?
HSA/FSA accounts were created so individuals could use pre-tax money to pay for expenses used to treat, mitigate, or prevent a diagnosed medical condition.
How does using my HSA/FSA account save me money?
Because HSA/FSAs use pre-tax money, you’re getting more purchasing power for your dollars. Rather than pay taxes on income and then spend it on health items, qualified customers can use pre-tax funds to invest in root cause interventions.
I don’t have an HSA/FSA. Can I still benefit from Truemed?
Unfortunately, Truemed’s services are for individuals who have HSA or FSA accounts (or plan to fund one during open enrollment). We encourage you to ask your employer about information on your HSA or FSA.
Will my HSA/FSA cover the full cost of a mattress?
Because mattresses are considered essential household items, only the portion of the cost tied to added health benefits, beyond what a typical mattress offers, may be eligible for reimbursement.
Can I use my regular credit card at checkout?
Yes. If you prefer to use your regular credit card, Truemed will send you instructions on how to submit for reimbursement from your HSA/FSA administrator.
What is a Letter of Medical Necessity, and how is this compliant?
The items in your Truemed Letter of Medical Necessity (“LMN”) are now qualified medical expenses in the same way a visit to the doctor’s office or pharmaceutical product is.
Thanks to studies that show Blissful Nights’ products can make a positive impact on well-being, they can now qualify as a medical expense with a Letter of Medical Necessity. Your Truemed LMN satisfies all IRS requirements to make your wellness spend fully reimbursable.
How long does it take for me to receive my Letter of Medical Necessity?
Generally it takes 24-48 hours. In some cases, Truemed’s provider team will require additional time to issue a letter of medical necessity based on the needs associated with an individual qualification survey.
